This solo piano arrangement of Silent Night begins simply and quietly, staying close to the familiar beauty of the carol before gradually opening into warmer, gospel-tinged harmonies.
I’ve always loved bringing a little gospel flavor into my arrangements, and this piece may be the clearest example of that side of my playing. As the arrangement unfolds, the harmony becomes richer and more expressive, but my goal was always to keep the music peaceful, accessible, and deeply connected to the original melody.
This is one of my favorite arrangements I’ve recorded and played, and I hope it brings you a quiet, reflective moment at the piano.
